Rules

I welcome comments and debate on the blog.  However, please be are that there are rules regarding commenting.  They are very clear and simple. If you don’t agree with them, then don’t post.

  1. Swearing will not be tolerated
  2. Offensive posts will be removed without warning
  3. Persistent offenders will be automatically barred from commenting on this blog
  4. Personal attacks against me or any other individuals will not be tolerated
  5. I am the sole referee in judging what is acceptable and what is not.
  6. If any reader of this blog feels a comment needs moderating or removing, then they should email me. Decision on whether to delete comment remains entirely my decision.

The comment feature is there so that readers of the blog can contribute to a debate or add points raised in an article. I moderate all comments and only allow those which I deem to be useful to the blog, that said I will not block a comment just because it does not agree with my opinions.

Remember – every single IP address that visits this website is automatically logged so even if you post as anonymous, you will be found out*. I will also forward your IP address to other bloggers to warn them and suggest they bar you from their blog as well.

If you consistently break these guidelines, then your access to this blog will be terminated.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

*I understand that some people want to comment anonymously for obvious reasons and that is fine as long as your comment does not break the above rules.

These rules were last updated on 29th January 2010
