The Rise of the BNP: Blame Labour

The election of two BNP MEPs is a disturbing result in the European elections. Up until yesterday, the UKK did not have any representation from exremist parties. However all that changes from today. The BNP, despite what they may try and claim asre a racist party. They will not admit non white people into the party nor will their MEPs properly represent non white people.

It is fine to campaign to ensure that British people, born and brought up here who are and have worked and pay their taxes get treated properly by the government, but to suggest that all non native people should return to their mother land is just simply racist. Many of these people work harder than our own citizens, perhaps it’s some our own that need to be thrown out of the country.

If we look at historic examples where extremist parties have come to power, in countries like Italy with facism and Germany with the Nazis, we see that extremists never get support for their actual policies in the first place. These parties thrive on a situation where the ruling party is unpopular. It is no coincidence therefore that in the present political climate of low Labour support, the BNP picks up votes.

There are a number of reasons why Labour can be blamed for the rise of the BNP. First is the rediculous electoral system in place. The BNP only increased their vote by 1.3%, but they picked up two seats. If the European elections were voted on a first past the post system then the BNP would have never got elected.

Secondly, there is significant unrest about the way in which hard working people are being treated in this country. There is a view that they are being taken for second class citizens with imigrants taking precedent for housing and benifits. I have said for quite some time now that if the BNP ever got elected at a national or international level (as they now have done) then Labour’s sodft touch approach to immigration would be mainly to blame. Between 1997 and 2001 there was a 600% increase in immigration. This put considerable strain on many areas with prospective council tenants being bumbed down the list so as to provide housing for new arrivals. This sort of policy was bound to rebound at some point and now it has. We need to regain control of our borders. Certain districts of major coities such as London are now riddled with international gang crime which would simply not be happening if our borders were controlled.

We do not need to close our borders, as the BNP suggest. We merely need to control them. There is nothing racist about putting our own people first. It is the wooly liberal brigade that keep insisting that we can’t possibly speak out on such issues as it is somehow racist.

Labour have done all they can to stop the BNP getting media attention, but it only gives them more attention. Labour will never get the message, but the reason the BNP have now reached the European parliament is becuase of their incredibly ignorant, arrogant and down right incompetence on issues such as immigration.

We must now do all we can to ensure that the next government gets a drip on these issues and actually stands up and starts to actually represent the working people of Great Britain once again by listening to what they want.
