The Final Furlong

Today is the final day of campaigming before tomorrow’s local and European elections. All the parties will be out on thd streets today garnering every last piece of support before the polls open at 7amtomorrow.
The tories have high hopes of sweeping the board in the local elections, whilst UKIP are still strong favorites to do well in the euro poll.
I’ll be out on thr streets delivering pledge letters to our known supporters telling why it is vital they vote Conservative tomorrow. I was very encouraged yesterday evening when a road that four years ago did not have many pledges now has considerably more. This of course has to do with the efforts of the local party, but attitudes havd clearly changed. We are on the brink of something incredible here, Labour may well finish in 3rd place in the local elections and perhaps even 4th place in the Euro elections. If that does happen then serious questions will be asked about Brown’s and Labour’s future.
